An intraoral camera is a small pen-like tool that the dentist uses to get a closer look at different areas of your mouth. It takes high definition images that the dentist can use to evaluate your oral health, identify issues such as tooth decay and show cracks or chipped teeth. In addition, the patient will have the ability to see for themselves first hand the same images we are seeing. These digital images are also excellent for gaining procedure acceptance from insurance companies.
